The horse show will include:

Four horse rings including a dedicated Mountain & Moorland ring for in hand and ridden ponies, with open and local classes.

Ridden Showing including Leading Rein and First Ridden ponies
Novice and Walk/Trot classes for beginners/nervous/inexperienced riders or ponies.

In hand and ridden showing, including classes for

  • Arab Horses, pure and part bred.
  • Hunters, Cobs, Show Horses and Ponies
  • Veteran horses and ponies. 15 years plus.
  • Coloured Horses, plaited, native and traditional
  • Heavy horses, pure and part bred.
  • Foreign breeds
  • ROR

  • Young handler
  • Best turned out

  • Children’s fun classes

Rosettes to 6th place, plus championship classes.

New for 2024

Affiliated British Palomino Society classes for in hand and ridden palominos and cream dilutes. Open to BPS members and non-members.

Supreme Championship

The first two competitors in each group will be eligible to go forward to the section championship. All Champions and Reserves will then go forward for the hotly contested Supreme Championship at the end of the show, judged by all the ring judges together. There is a prize of £100 for the Supreme Champion and £50 for the Reserve Supreme, as well as trophies and sashes.
